So I know this does not have much to do with American Made. Just wanted to share my son's passion which is Skateboarding. He just turned 9 and is already a very good boarder. So we get all our stuff at one store in Puyallup. So if you are looking for Snowboards or Skateboards in Puyallup or Tacoma click here

Such a cool find to report. A visitor to the site emailed me about Milbert Amplifiers (milbert.com) makers of all-tube audio equipment since 1986. It is great news to see an American Electronics Company! Check out their site and look at the outstanding reviews they have received!

It was added to the AW page about Electronics Made in the USA so don't forget to check it out.

Recently AW was able to add several American Made Shoe companies to the directory of products made in the USA. It was not an easy feat to do if I say so myself (yes, lame pun intended)

Kinda American Made Pulled from Site

So today at AW a company was removed after getting a few complaints about the company. Here is the problem. It was a maker of pots and pans. They make their pots and pans here in the US and brag about it. But here's the rub, the lids are made in China!

So the big stuff is made here, and the little part made in China. Do you think that company should have been removed from the site?

I'm still up in the air about the choice to remove them because this company did choose to keep making the main part of the product here in the USA and that is important right?

So AW made another listing today for Tools Made in America. It is a great company that really takes pride in being American Made. here is a quote from the site

Nice to see people do care. I think you would be surprised at how many companies that make products here in the USA do not Market that fact? Some like they are ashamed or something? So lets reward those that are proud to be American Made

So I bet you never thought about an American Made Toothbrush either. Just figure they are right? Well most are not. Might you be able to guess where they are most often made? Bet you can if you try.
