I have spent the last week reviewing the many listings on the American made directory category of clothes. I was shocked to see how many companies there are still manufacturing their items domestically. Not only that but how many practice sustainable and organic practices.

We review our own site often to make sure companies listed are still doing business and are still made in the USA of course. This week during reviews I came across several clothing manufactures that not only make their clothes in the USA but only use organic American grown cotton. American Made Clothing

It should not be hard to find American made clothing but it can be. I have been in the business of helping people locate clothes made in the USA. During these years the number one complaint I have received is "Where can I buy clothing made in the USA in person"? I have to agree this in not an easy task to accomplish.

The internet of course has made it much easier for consumers to locate clothing and other products made in the USA. The problem is Americans like to see their clothing before buying it, they want to try it on, make sure their shoes go with it. This is all understandable of course.

So until brick and mortar retailers start to take notice that Americans want domestic made products we will have to rely on the internet, which is doing a great job!

Employment is down along with the average household income

Most of the last 10 years has not been very kind to the American worker and our families. The politicians are not helping and I mean both sides of the aisle. They continue to make trade agreements to enrich big business but do little for us. The taxpayers bailed out GM and now they are set to import a SUV from China for the American Market.

We can take the power back, vote with your dollar. There are small and medium companies who know the American Worker needs to be supported. We have compiled a huge list of of companies that make products in the USA that include clothing, shoes, socks, tools, kitchen products and much more.

Are you ready for an Made in the USA back to school shopping trip

If you are like my family when we head out for back to school shopping we always look for items made in the USA. There are quite a few retailers that have been doing a great job at advertising products that are made in the USA.

My family was able to purchase quite a few things made in American when we were out and about at the malls. Paper, pencils, and some other accessories were clearly marked. We were able to find socks made in the USA at a mall.

Of course our site includes Back Packs made in the USA  and lost of clothing. So if we want our kids to have jobs when they graduate lets lay the ground work now when you buy American.

our made in the USA clothing selection has been growing very well over the last few years. While most of the choices are geared towards adults we have added some lines aimed at teens. We have seen several companies pop up that offer American Made shirts popular with teens like T-Shirts and the like.

I have yet to find American made jeans that the kids like but we will keep searching! If you come across some please let us know and we would get them posted ASAP.

Our traffic indicates that American Made clothing is on of the most popular items people are looking for. The second item seems to be shoes followed by tools.
