Kinda American Made Pulled from Site

So today at AW a company was removed after getting a few complaints about the company. Here is the problem. It was a maker of pots and pans. They make their pots and pans here in the US and brag about it. But here's the rub, the lids are made in China!

So the big stuff is made here, and the little part made in China. Do you think that company should have been removed from the site?

I'm still up in the air about the choice to remove them because this company did choose to keep making the main part of the product here in the USA and that is important right?

So another company was added to AW today. It is an American Made Firearms Company called Ruger. They make handguns, rifles, and shotguns. All of their firearms are Made in the USA. So AW made another listing today for Tools Made in America. It is a great company that really takes pride in being American Made. here is a quote from the site

Nice to see people do care. I think you would be surprised at how many companies that make products here in the USA do not Market that fact? Some like they are ashamed or something? So lets reward those that are proud to be American Made

OK if you never thought about American Made Toothbrushes I'm sure Pet Clothes Made in the USA never crossed your mind! Well in fact there are many people out there that cater to our furry friends and their wardrobe! Not to mention leashes, collars, treats and more. Is man's best friend worthy of American Made?
